We understand that your health is a private matter and we are dedicated to protecting your medical data. If you choose to avail the use of your Patient Portal account and register on our website, you may be required to input your identification and contact information. "Identification/Contact Information" may include your name, address, telephone number, and email address. Please make sure that all your information is correct before submission, as it will be used as our means of contacting you. The Medical City will not distribute your information to any third parties nor use it to send you advertisements.
Our website accepts and stores personal and health information that you have entered directly into the tools that it provides. Some of the data that these tools may ask for are your medical history and vital signs. You may also choose to track certain aspects of your health (e.g. blood pressure, heart rate, weight) by recording your readings/findings on our health tracker. Note that you are responsible for the accuracy of the information that you provide us with. The records that you have created using our website will always be protected and secured.
The Medical City Patient Portal is linked to The Medical City hospital's existing medical information exchange system (Patient Records and Integrated Medical Exchange, otherwise known as PRIME), and our laboratory information system (LIS). Both these systems keep a record of the information obtained when you avail of certain services at The Medical City. These services may include inpatient admissions and laboratory procedures, and will be displayed in two of our modules, Visit History and Lab Results.
In addition to above, it is possible to upload a photo of yourself to be used as your profile picture on the Patient Portal. Please be informed that our website may share your profile photo to PRIME. This photo will be used to update your medical record in PRIME. You may also choose not to upload a photo, or remove one that has already been uploaded.
We may disclose your personal identification, contact and other personal information as we see reasonably fit if required by law. Examples of such cases are court orders and proceedings, subpoenas, and search warrants. We may also disclose your information if non-disclosure involves a threat to your safety, the safety of others, and a threat to our rights. We will make reasonable attempts to notify you using your contact information in case we are legally obliged to reveal your personal information.
The Medical City may send you alerts, news, and notifications regarding your Patient Portal account via the email you provide. We may also send you educational and promotional material through our newsletters if you choose to sign up for a subscription. When subscribing to our newsletters, you may be asked to provide personal information. You have the option to unsubscribe or discontinue receiving notifications and newsletters at any time.
The security and privacy of your information is a priority to us. Our website uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. SSL technology is a protocol that secures your data when it is communicated by a service over the internet. It encrypts the information that you submit on our website.
All data related to our website is regularly backed up and is stored in an offline server in our data center. By uploading any media on The Medical City Patient Portal, you warrant that you have permission from all persons appearing in your media for you to make this contribution and grant rights described herein. Never post a picture of or with someone else unless you have their explicit permission.

The Patient Portal is a service provided by The Medical City that allows patient partners to view their medical data online. It is accessible from the main website. It only takes a few minutes to sign up but allows the convenience to view diagnostic results and medical records anywhere without going to The Medical City. Any patient can avail of this service free of charge. In addition to accessing medical information, the Patient Portal has a health tracker that allows a patient to monitor their vital signs using a graphic interface by entering their own data.
All you need is two valid IDs and an email address to sign up for the Patient Portal.
If you are admitted in TMC, you will be offered to sign up for the Patient Portal during admission procedures. You may also approach Customer Service to sign up for a Patient Portal account if you have previously had a transaction at TMC.
You may view your laboratory results, radiology results and discharge summaries in the Patient Portal. You can also monitor your vital signs using a graphic interface by entering your own data.
